CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- Right FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- Left FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the BACK PANEL. Press darts towards the center of the piece.
- Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Press the seam to the left side and serge. Serge the bottom edge of the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the dart on the left FRONT PANEL. Press the dart towards the center of the piece.
- Clip the hem allowance on the right FRONT PANEL at the right side of the dart. Serge the allowance, press to the wrong side, and topstitch, stopping a few centimeters before the side seam.
- Stitch the dart on the right FRONT PANEL. Trim the dart depth to 1 cm and serge, continuing onto the bottom edge.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the blouse. Press the seams towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
- Serge the neckline allowance of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
- Attach the left FRONT PANEL to the right FRONT PANEL. Press the seam downwards and serge.
- Stitch the side seams. Press the seams towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
- Serge the armhole SEAM ALLOWANCES. Press the hem and armhole SEAM ALLOWANCES to the wrong side and topstitch.
